Happy New Year everyone! I wish you all many clear nights (at least much better than for me in 2024…)! I hope you will get beautiful images and an amazing seeing, way below… one arcsecond ! Of course.
This year will be a Big Year for Arcsecond! By the end of March, I will quit my job in the industry to work exclusively on Arcsecond. One big development will be the Telescope Control, that will be integrated into the plateform. It’s already started, and I can’t wait to see it working.
But rather than implementing it in my office at home with my telescopes, I will start doing it for real with a real telescope in Tasmania for the ARIEL portal in Arcsecond. Along with a complete Data Flow, the goal is to have it up and running smoothly by June 2025! Big challenge ahead, I am very excited and also confident.
The next steps will be to start visiting my currently active observatories, and future ones in Canada, USA and Chile!
